This F/W 2019-2020 we are stepping out of our comfort zone and into a season of contrast. Paris Fashion Week blurred the lines of trends, bleeding one style into another sharing a common theme Modern Women. Designers presented statement looks that celebrates women without forcing them into impossible standards.
1) The Shearling coat
This season the shearling has been revitalize in a more natural sense. I styled this look with an energetic adventurer-esque vibe by pairing this sheepskin coat with a high slit dress by 01sexibomb and riding boots by ValyaLady.
2)Houndstooth
This trend uses the classic print to dominate from head-to-toe, blocking has been use to contrast the pattern. This look has a retro and modern fusion with cropped pants, paired with a off shoulder top and strappy heels black/gold heels by MissC, prada purse by Giia, Dior choker by ISTE and Shades by Cleire.
3) Bourgeois
This season we return to the style code with heavy french influence of elegance and not so discrete lavish details. With this look think of the 70's and 80's refined silhouettes with skirts, culottes, blazers and trench coats. For this look I went with a skirt made by kalacooper, boots by Cleire, jewelry by MIA1 and shawl by IZIS.
4) Check
Who doesn't like checkers, especially in the winter. This motif is seen with a multitude of variations and looks, from head-to-toe or colorblock methods have been use to set you apart from the basic plaiders. With this look I minimize the plaid to only the skirt just because I love the colors it incorporates (fire brick red, classic blue greys and whites). 5) Dominatrix
This winter is bondage in inspired, designers channeled her inner female dominance with these themed looks. leather, vinyl, harness, corsets and cages. Corset top by KHOX, skirt by ValyaLady, earrings and shades by Medu and spikey shoes by LibdoScarlett.
